Tiger Tales

If you like tigers then you came to the right place in this report i'm going to be talking about what tigers do and where there habitats are. Tigers have multiple habitats including ,Forests,Woodland,Greenlands,Savannah’s and rocky places. Tigers may look cute but never get to close to them unless they are tamed because tigers are carnivores and they do eat meat.

Tigers are my favorite animals I love the stripes on their backs, did you know that tigers use their black stripes to become camouflaged, it almost makes them look invisible to their prey, tigers also have orange and white on them to make them even more camouflaged in different types of habitats.

There are all kinds of tigers white tigers, siberian tigers, bengal tigers, and way more. Most of these tigers are the same but some tigers live in different habitats cold habitats , really hot habitats , but it all depends on their fur tigers have long thick fur in the winter and then they shed and get shorter coats for the summer.

Also tigers diets consist of deer, dog, snake, antelope, and water buffalo basicly everything meat also eating this meat helps their coat.

Well this leads us to the end of my report today I talked about where tigers live, tigers coats, Their diets and their black stripes on their back. I hope you learned something about this magnificent species until next time bye.

Conclusion

Tigers are fearless animals and I would stay away from them because they eat meat and you have less power than them. But if you do go near them I would advise you pack some guns because you would be the mouse in that fight.

Secondly we got into our groups and started to do breath strokes and streamlines, I don't think I'm very good at holding my breath at the moment but I know Ill get better soon . Wyatt The Delivery Bird

This past week we watched a Disney made film called partly cloudy we had to write about this film but also describe the setting in detail.  My film is in the eyes of the sister Tiffany telling you about how her brother has the worse cloud you can have.

Wyatt The Delivery Bird

The sky is very pink and fluffy it almost resembles candy floss, it was like a magical  world. It was so high up that you could see all over the city it was so beautiful and at night time the city lit up. Anyway my name is Tiffany and I’m going to be talking about my little brother Wyatt.

He is a delivery stork just like me but he has one of the worst clouds Storm, Storm is very lonely and doesn't quite understand happiness. He was separated from his family when he was a little cloud and did not have anyone to talk to except for my brother. All the clouds above storm make puppies and cats, babies and pretty much everything that would make you happy.

But since Storm does not know what happiness is he kind of makes creatures that are very very terrible to carry in the sheets, we carry to the place we get told to deliver them to. One time he made a ram and it hit wyatt 100 times, let me tell you that was not a good day it took him 6 weeks to grow his feathers back, he looked like a nude chicken.

And then one day storm was just about to make a monster of the sea a great white shark Wyatt looked at the other clouds, one cloud and its courier stork were playing with little birds and he didn't look all beat up. Wyatt thought look at me compared to them i'm beat up most of my feathers are gone he looked at storm and flew away to the other clouds.

Storm got angry and started to cry the other cloud and Wyatt looked down at him, Wyatt came down with a package he pulled out a helmet and a chest piece for protection and tapped his helmet clink clink. Storm hugged him with a smile then Wyatt nipped him on the cheek. Storm started rolling a cloud, poof in to Wyatt's arms a eel pizz went the eel Wyatt flew off to deliver it and they lived happily ever after.

Keys into the past

I was sitting alone by the piano where me and my wife used to play, I “sighed’’  it echoed in the empty room i'm so lonely, I started to play my wife's favourite song it brings back so much memories.

As my fingers flowed I felt another finger touch mine my wife she kissed me on the cheek and then left still I kept on playing, I trembled at the site Boom Boom! I was trying to save a man he died in my arms looking straight into my eyes and I regret that day.

Diiing I pressed the wrong key but I just kept going,  another memory it was my 9th birthday my parents gave me a horse a  wooden horse not a real one but since I was 9 I had a pretty big imagination.

I heard a bang on the side of the piano I glanced over in a state of fear nothing's damaged it's just my grandson johnny it's his birthday today and I had nothing for him because I was to stuck into my music so much to even care, so I decided to give him my horse he  just loves it like I did.

I played again my eyes filled with tears as more memories rolled through my head but they were happy tears.

This week my group has been learning how to add fractions together using multiplication in this video I will teach you how to figure them out. School Extravaganza

On Wednesday and Thursday we have a performance to put on we practised for about the whole term until week 6 we learned to dance and make sure that everything was perfect. 

We did this for New Zealand music month we danced and lip synced to New Zealand music the song I was doing was chains by Che-Fu I will have the song below. 

I played as one of the rappers along side my friend Lasa it was very fun and heart racing but when we got out there it wasn't so bad. We have another performance today and I think we will do better because we have done it before.

since we get there so early and our performance is like nearly last we have to wait with another teacher and we play games and go on our Chromebooks.

The past weeks we have been reading a novel on holes its a book about a boy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got sent to Camp Green Lake to dig holes for getting accused of stealing these famous baseball players shoes.

Josef, Lasa and I had to create a film on the most important part of the holes book. The part we did was how he got to Camp Green Lake.

The Adrenaline rush

For the past 2 weeks my class and I have been writing about Danny Macaskill. He is a mountain biker and he loves to do things that pump his adrenaline.

Hello my name is Danny Macaskill,  I was rowing my worn out blue boat down a river, it

was all gunky and it smelt really bad. I finally stopped at my destination which was my biking spot. I looked around and saw jagged mountains that looked as sharp as glass. I grabbed my bike off of my boat and biked between two mountains, I felt nervous but the adrenaline took over and I felt alive. Pedal pedal I did parkour tricks with my mountain bike  I climbed up a really steep mountain the view was so appealing.

I climbed another mountain with just one hand and then biked up a grass trail then I rode down and biked across a really thin stick and looked at the water my adrenaline just took over and I kept going I tried to not get my bike wet.

Then I biked between those two mountains and bunny hopped with my bike over some rocks it really pumped me to keep on doing more of it as scary as it is the adrenaline just takes over I bike for about 2 hours and then I walked in the clear water and put my bike back in the boat and rowed back to my home.

This is my fishing rod I call it fishy 5000 it's called fishy 5000.

Because It catches fish and the 5000 comes because it is the best one out their hand crafted.

This term we did a Duatholon we had to bring our scooters to school half of it was scooters and bikes then running the year 5 and 6 did 2 and the 1 through to 4 had to do 1. It was real hard we had to use a lot of resilience I was doing year 6 girls. this to place yesterday 30th of march.

Man I look funny I'm the one with the purple scooter it was really fun we had to do 2 laps of the high schools netball courts it was hard because it was a zig-zag sort of line and everyone was trying to get in front of me hope you enjoyed.

   My maths group learned how to solve subtraction problems by reversing subtractions into additions and using a number line this D.L.O will show you how to do it hope you enjoyed. I found this strategy prickly at first but it got a little bit easier the more I used it I will defiantly be using this strategy in the future.

My amazing trip to Spencer Park

On Friday the 10th of March we went to Spencer Park with Rumu Wha, Ruma Toru and Wahi Ako. The other classes went on the bus and Mikayla, Lasa , Aisa and I went in the car. I felt so excited to go to Spencer Park.

We got there I was in group 2e my group walked to the beach first I felt happy because I got to put my feet in the water we made sand castles and played in the sand and waited for the other groups to arrive. They arrived, we lined up.

Then we walked back to the playground and had morning tea I had egg sandwiches and biscuits. Everyone was so hungry then after that we played on the playground. South Hornby was there we ask if we could play basketball and we did. Me, Aisa, Vann, Jillian , Joshua, Mikayla. Me and Aisa got a 3 pointer there was this guy he was so skilled and stuff their team was pretty good we were leading by 16 we won.

The teachers and parents called us over they said we're going for the Lagoon walk  we packed up and walked past adrenaline forset My cousin and I walked together we saw heaps of birds.

My group went back to the park and had our lunch. We were supposed to go to the beach but we played at the park me and my friends played basketball again all day the bus came along Lasa, Aisa , Mikayla. And I went back to school in my dad's car we listened to music.

The Present

My mum got me a present one day. I was playing on the xbox 360  at my house then my mum opened the blinds. I carried on playing my xbox. I was curious and the box burst open. A puppy it jumped out it has a fluffy body and it's eye where big and brown. I thought to myself, it's missing a leg. I got angry and threw the puppy off of my lap. It has 3 legs. I said “Get lost pft”.

The puppy found a red ball and ran over with it to me. I kicked the ball away. He chased it everywhere. “He's a clumsy dog” I said to myself. I chuckled a wee bit. He bought the ball back. I tried to ignore him then he came beside me and gave me those puppy eyes. How could I ignore? I grabbed my crutches and walked off outside and threw the ball down the driveway and we played all day long.

I see why my mum got him for me because he's my twin, we both are missing a leg. From then on I felt so happy I got my bestfriend.
